Driven by design

It’s no mean feat to stand out in a category as generic as car cables and chargers.

 

For Bapcor’s new in-car tech accessories brand, we took our inspiration and design cues from the world of gaming, with bold graphics, high energy aesthetics and a punchy new name screaming hi-tech without the high price tag.

 

With other brands in this category favouring a somewhat predictable white and blue palette, taking the road less travelled with a much more dynamic, moodier design gave Kato a distinct and ownable look and elevated its appeal to a younger, more tech-savvy audience.
