Amazon Renewed (finally) launches in Australia.

Australia may be ahead of the US and the UK when it comes to time zones, but for everything else we’re still often a few months behind (at least). Such was the case with Amazon’s latest offering, Amazon Renewed, which has just been released down under.

First launched in 2017 in the US and then in the UK in 2018, Amazon Renewed gives customers the opportunity to snare significant savings on certified refurbished, pre-owned goodies from top brands like Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Lenovo, Razer, HP and Dell.

Worried about being sold a dud? Fear not. Everything sold on Amazon Renewed comes with a warranty, but minimum warranty lengths differ around the globe – a full year in the UK, 6 months in Australia and just 90 days in the US. Still, 90 days is a lot better than you’ll get from most Gumtree or eBay sellers.

Not only can Aussie Amazon shoppers now join their US and UK counterparts in bagging a better price, they can enjoy knowing they’re helping to reduce landfill, something that’s sure to put a smile on the dial of eco-warriors around the country.

As it’s only early days, Amazon Australia’s Renewed range is small when compared to that on offer in the in the US and UK, but more is being added all the time. For now, there’s a strong focus on tech – so if you’re in the market for a (re)new(ed) phone, tablet or a Bluetooth speaker, why not take a look?

"Aussie shoppers are savvy and we hope that Renewed gives them another way to get the products they want for an even better price.”
